PRSKY71 0 #1 September 11, 2007 did you do this weekend? I realize, the vast majority will say you spent the weekend skydiving, and if that's the case what was so fun about your skydives? I went to see my hubby skydive at Air Adventures of Clewiston (Skydive Air Adventures). I had not been in a very long time..... I had the chance to video his landings, which is always fun for me and also take some pics of tandem landings. I love taking pics but having spent the last year pregnant and now taking care of my baby, I just have not had much time for it. In any event, even though it was HOT it was also lots of fun. SkydiveStMarys 0 #2 September 11, 2007 Went ATV riding (we all have our own) with my boys on my newly purchased 7.9 acres. We had a blast and what was really cool to me was finding two cedar trees on the property!Bobbi A miracle is not defined by an event. A miracle is defined by gratitude. livendive 8 #3 September 11, 2007 I jumped out of airplanes. But this coming weekend, I will not be anywhere near a dropzone for the first weekend since March or April. I'm quite looking forward to it. And in proving that chinese fortune cookies can occasionally make sense, mine at lunch today said, "You will enjoy doing something different this coming weekend." irisheyes 0 #5 September 11, 2007 I went shoe shopping...nothing new or exciting there, I know. But I fell in love with this one pair of shoes and they did not have them in my size (I'm cursed with a size 10). Searched all over the internet that night with no luck. Every place that sold them was sold out and not expecting to get anymore in. I finally thought to check ebay (I had never used it before), and wouldn't ya' know it, they had one pair and it was in the size and color I wanted. Silly little success, but it made my day! PRSKY71 0 #8 September 11, 2007 Well, I'm glad you found them, Carol. I definitely miss shopping. The only shopping I do now is for groceries, formula, diapers and the occasional baby clothes!! That last one is fun, though!!! Character cannot be made except by a steady, long continued process. -- Phillips Brooks

I wasn't sure which day we were planning on, but Friday is what I was hoping for. I was planning on bringing my rig, but only because I thought your beautiful wife might want to see it. Oh, and I did get to do AFF out of a 182 once this weekend. It was kind of odd since we usually just take the Caravan. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" JENNR8R 0 #13 September 11, 2007 I visited a friend on the way home from the DZ yesterday. I'd never been to her house before, and I was able to drive there by using my new GPS toy that I bought this week. I'm taking a commercial flight next month. I wonder if it will work on the airplane? What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

That's funny because my husband and I recently flew commercially and I asked him if his GPS (computer one) would work in the plane. Unfortunately, we did not have it with us. I think you need to attach the antennae up to a window where it can receive several satellite signals. Might be hard to do in the back of an airliner. cloudseeker2001 0 #16 September 11, 2007 I bbq'd for-and got drunk with-a bunch of lesbians at a lesbian pool party........everyone had a great time and the food was really good.......I did get a little nervous when they all started jumping off the roof of the garage and into the pool! They did not seem to understand why I thought that so dangerous! Well that explains why it thought it was in Kansas when I took it out of the box at work. It was giving me locations to Kansas restaurants and everything. popsjumper 2 #19 September 11, 2007 11 of us went to a Braves game last Wednesday compliments of a tandem. Luxury box with all the food, beer, booze, soft drinks, ice cream and desserts we could handle. Plus free tickets to the 755 club to drink more for free. Met Chipper Jones. Damn! That boy is BIG! I doubt we'll be invited back since the place was trashed when we left (no, I didn't have anything to do with that). Got to watch and listen in on Ian Drennen's swoop coaching...not that you would ever catch me swooping but it was very interesting. That boy can TEACH! Made $124 on a 5-10 cent Hold 'Em no-limit poker game. Had sex on the DZ. Had to cut it short, though...my arm got tired. My reality and yours are quite different.
