So depending on the manufacturer and target market, a car can be set up for "grannie-ness" or "sportiness", or somewhere in between. An A/T, engine, etc. can be programmed to behave pretty much any way one would like. bob.dino 1 #28 September 12, 2007 QuoteThe Bugatti Veyron is an "automatic". I guess it must not have any power and must suck pretty bad. It certainly sucks a lot of fuel. As does the Maserati Gran Sport, which has clutchless paddle-shift.
popsjumper 2 #29 September 12, 2007 The way I understand it from the ATL cops is that it's not the car...it's your driving. They each and every one have collected your autograph. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239

I hit the gas and it just has wayyy to much lag. You need to make some adjustments on the transmission so that it holds whatever gear you want. Basically turn it into a "manual automatic" if I can use the term." . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
