Zep 0 #1 September 16, 2007 I'd been wondering where the mouser had got to. She's never been an indoor cat an doesn't show any affection So when she came scratching at the window I was a bit surprised even more surprised when she proceeded to bring in 3 kittens did a tour of the house an decided on an old sofa in the spare room Looks like I got 3 more mousers. Zep 0 #9 September 16, 2007 Thanks for the offer, you'd probably be better of trying the local ChineseTo those of you that said "have her done" I understand your concern and would agree with you if she was a house cat, She's not she's a working cat, hence the reference mouser, normally she wont come in the house, I'm wondering if the Owls spooked her, or even got some of the litter, as it seems strange that she would ask and be content inside, My two pet cats are spayed an they very rarely wander outside, city cats are really wimpy Oh an so's not to confuse people, I live in a farmhouse with a mouse problem. godfrog 2 #12 September 16, 2007 used to have a mess of mousers, mountain lion got all of them except one, an old tom cat. he moved into the house and even taught himself to use the litter box, the only one in the area to survive the mountain lion.Experience is a difficult teacher, she gives you the test first and the lesson afterward

Zing 2 #18 September 16, 2007 Still, you'd be doing Oddball a favor by taking her in to be spayed. She'd likely revert to being an outside mouser, and you won't end up with what's left of the next litters she'll inevitably have. Most likely, she came inside in a desperate attempt to save her surviving few babies from the last litter.Zing Lurks

Warm bath with ivory soap or other gentle type dish soap. Lather them up really good, let it sit and you will see the fleas smother themselves. Keep close attention to their eyes not to get the soap in them if you can help it. Edit: Or you can squish each flea by hand, but that tends to be tedious and time consumingLife is not fair and there are no guarantees...

Brewers yeast. You can get it at Petsmart or any pet store. Then get some pure stuff from the vitamin store and sprinkle it on the floor and vacuum. Kills flea eggs. You can also sprinkle it in the cats food.Be yourself! MooOOooOoo

MrFreefall383 0 #23 September 16, 2007 Cute kittens. My cat's on the way out, brain tumor. If only I had the say on this, I'd ask if you were willing to part with one of 'em. But it's a family decision if we get another cat, so for now enjoy them.
