k_marr08 0 #1 September 20, 2007 I've been trying to get a job with KBR since January to no avail. Does anyone here work for KBR who can help me with the application process? (how you got the job, for starters) ok thanks! not frustrated, but looking for ways other than pure luck of the draw."I believe the risks I take are justified by the sheer love of the life I lead" - Charles Lindbergh

popsjumper 2 #6 September 20, 2007 Just like any other job application process it's most often WHO you know, not WHAT you know. Your efforts at networking are admirable. Now go meet some employees and hang out with them...management types, of course. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. k_marr08 0 #7 September 22, 2007 hahahah! thanks guys! yes, networking would be key here (the very point of this post) -- kbrjobs.com is the process I've been using to apply, but if anyone knows about KBR they know it's 99% luck of the draw and 1% qualifications that get your resume/application looked at. There's no way to talk to a person, just through the website. They occasionally hold job fairs in texas, but none coming up and I'm not sure how realistic it is for me to travel to texas to try to get a job that's extremely high in demand. anyway, was just wondering if there were any insiders -- but again thanks guys!!"I believe the risks I take are justified by the sheer love of the life I lead" - Charles Lindbergh
