What is the funniest movie you have ever seen?

So pretty soon we are going into winter and I had been out of the movie loop for some time ... It will soon be time for late night poker and movies. I love the hilarious comedies and was wondering what your most favorite funniest movie is????

I need to catch up on some humor! And I am not talking dumb humor, like for instance I know someone is going to reply Kill Bill. Although I found a couple parts of that movie funny, I thought most of it was dumb but that was just my opinion. I am looking for some good comedy and it can also include stand up.

Blazing Saddles, History of the World - Part 1, any of the Monty Python movies, American Pie 1 and 2. Those are just off the top of my head.

Yep, History of the World Part 1 was GREAT!!! I was super bummed they never made the 2nd. I was really looking forward to seeing Jews in Space and Hitler on Ice. I also love Monty Python and American Pie. Never saw the 2nd one though, I should probably rent that one. I also have the American Wedding on tape but haven't watched it yet.

Anything Mel Brooks is pretty great. He has great humor!!!

Hitler on ice would have been hysterical... did you ever see that Hitler spoof video on youtube about online poker? It's in SC somewhere. Fucking hilarious if you ask me, but a regular poker player would get it easy.

Not a movie, but I cry every time I see Dave Chappelle's "Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Story."

It's the stickiest of the Icky.

I liked Cannonball Run I & II also.

The Best of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog is good as well.

Airplane - Oh yeah, we quote that one in the control room every day.

Happy Gilmore, Caddy Shack, Animal House, Holy Grail, and, yes, I liked Napoleon Dynamite. There seems to be a divide of opinions on that last one. Old Star Trek TV shows make me laugh, too, but I don't think that's the desired effect.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 is usually good for some laughs.

There's loads of stuff, the movie which I laugh a lot in was An American Werewolf in London, granted i was 17 at the time but it was still very funny to me.

Yeah you're right, it's one of my favourites. And also "8 legged freaks" if you watch it knowing that it is a 70's horror flick spoof it is one of the funniest movies i've seen.
