kbordson 8 #35 September 24, 2007 It used to be running... and I would sometimes run 6+ miles /day... but since my knee surgery I'm stuck using the elliptical machine which isn't as relaxing ... cuz there's no trees, no lake, no "outdoors" I need to get back to meditating and using music to help "center" my thoughts and calm the chaos. I also try to look at those who have less than I... and focus on how my problems really aren't all that important. Sometimes that helps avoid the "overwhelming" feelings.... ACMESkydiver 0 #38 September 24, 2007 Depends. If I'm really angry and have energy, I get on the treadmill and play obnoxiously loud music. If I have no energy and I'm overwhelmed/sad stressed, I take a really long hot shower and curse everything that's going wrong, then I post stupid things on the internet that I'll probably regret later. If I'm mad at someone HERE, in my HOUSE, I typically go out, spend an obscene amount of money on things I don't really need, and then come back home. A friend of mine taught me that one. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

gonzalesna 0 #43 September 24, 2007 Quote other than skydiving and rubbing one out? me...I draw with charcoals and dance. Makes me feel so much better. Been dancing for two hours now to old school hip hop. Hockey, drinkin' beer, camping and cruisin' on the harley. Probably more that gets my mind off of life, but that's all I can come up with right now. Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.
