peanut4040 0 #1 September 21, 2007 Yall ever figure that,,, (we being old skydivers reading in between the lines and all) That sometimes too much technical information passes through these portals? I see some pretty important and influential people just freely pass out technical things that I would rather the rookies I jump with do NOT know. i mean, seeing as, that most people quit about 500 jumps. I would rather them not knowing HOW to turn a good 470 above the drop zone, and HOW to avoid traffic that is flying a straight pattern. Can one of these experts, just say. This stuff they spout is not safe unless you are on a cessna 182 load. I'm the fat old guy flying a plain old fashioned pattern, where i might spruce it up with a 180. I don't want to piss yall off with my landing pattern, but if you come over the top of me one more time, You'll get no free beer at the bonfire. Its a good day to LIVE, why puck up a good thing. Ones with broken legs. 2. Ones that will break legs. 3. Ones that are brain damaged or paralyzed 4. Ones that are dead. RIP Your S & T, is a skydiver. He has a USPA license.
