denete 3 #76 September 26, 2007 So far I've jumped Grand Caravan, Mullin's King Air, PAC750XL, and Beech99. Mullin's King Air wins...but the PAC wasn't far behind.
Amazon 7 #77 September 26, 2007 The Super Otter is a great jumpship... BUT... you have to ask yourself if your DZ has a consistent number of jumpers there to support it.. What is the minimum number of jumpers you are willing to take up in the Otter when you are not getting enough people to fill the plane??
lauraliscious 0 #78 September 26, 2007 If they get an Otter, I'm willing to bet the jumpers will follow and there would definitely be enough people to support it, at least on weekends. I've been at this DZ when they've put up 5 fun jumpers on a Friday afternoon in the Grand Caravan, and 2 were on staff. Maybe not the most economic business practice, and definitely not something I would expect all the time, but it keeps us fun jumpers very happy and coming back for more. This one stopped at my DZ for a week last year. It flew like a King Air it had such a fast rate of climb.... and loud. Why are they not allowed in the US...?
