BIGUN 1,490 #1 September 29, 2007 John, I want to apologize to you and everyone else for my comments regarding the thread to send cards to the kids of Deuce a little over a week ago. Your intent was honorable and while I and several others objected to the content, I handled it poorly with a personal attack. You in turn; handled that attack more graciously than one could have expected. Billvon gave me a warning instead of a ban which I fully expected and I in turn imposed a 30 day ban on myself. However, I interrrupt that ban for this apology because waiting 30 days to apologize would be inappropriate. I hope your graciousness will allow you to accept my apology and I hope to have the chance to do so in person. He has always been a stand up guy, one could not ask for a better person to have as friend. Not trying to push a SkyFest thing but this timing is perfect. If you have not read the SkyFest article please do. There is a section in there that discusses the annual SF trophy that we give out to folks that have certain qualities, well I wont go into it, just read it. Keith won it this year and he is a perfect person for it. Then you must read what he did later that night! It was one of the most generous, and incredible things I have seen. I will never forget while during the auction, Im thinking why in the hell does Keith keep bidding on duplicate items. it didnt dawn on me untill right before he made this awesome act of kindness. All I can say Keith is...............Jerry is very proud I guarantee it my friend. Luv ya man!! J now call me you big lug... wees gots wurk tadoo!!
