VanillaSkyGirl 6 #1 October 4, 2007 My custom Javelin Odyssey is now completed. I am having them rush it to my rigger at Ground Zero. I just ordered a new PD 150 Reserve from Square One (Thanks, Kristian!), which is also being rushed to my rigger. My old cypres and Spectre 150 will be placed in the new rig, and my rig will be ready for Chick's Rock! YEAH!!! (I owe beer, right?) This is especially good because my new jumpsuit did NOT work out. It's too huge on me...even the booties don't fit. Finally, I won't have back pains with my new rig, like I do now. Chick's Rock...I'll be selling jello shots to raise funds for the AIDS Walk, which takes place the following weekend in L.A. I'll be there on Friday night 10/-12 and Saturday 10-13, but I hope to sell more on Friday night. VanillaSkyGirl 6 #6 October 4, 2007 YAAAAY, thanks, my friend! On another note...it seems that I will be joining the iFLY Hollywood family (part-time customer service work) at the end of the month. I just want to say that I LOVE these people and their (Skyventure) wind tunnels. If I could be there more hours, I would totally do it. I haven't even flown in a tunnel in about 18 months, so I'm just excited to be going back into this kind of environment, esp. with the tourists/kids, who will be our clientele. JohnMitchell 16 #22 October 5, 2007 Glad you got your new rig for Chicks Rock. I love new gear. Does it have an small sized reserve handle? Vskydiver has that on her Infinity, and really likes it. She's not quite as short as you, but still had a pretty small main lift web. Wish we were still going to Chicks Rock this year but we'll be in Boston for our daughter's Parents Weekend at her college. Maybe next year. Our son will be down there packing, though.
