sharimcm 0 #1 October 3, 2007 After 5-6 years of managing my hair, I chopped it all off today to donate it to Locks of Love... There are many before pictures on dz.com, so here it is... The AFTER picture... I feel so light-headed now. VideoFly 0 #22 October 4, 2007 When my kid’s mom got breast cancer, my son Atom stopped cutting his hair at the age of seven (when he started packing). He finally cut it at twelve and donated it to Locks of Love. Now years later, my medical treatment is causing me to lose my hair too. While I don’t mind losing it, I can now know even more how devastating it can be to others. You have done a wonderful thing and are beautiful in many ways. sharimcm 0 #23 October 4, 2007 My uncle is currently going through chemo for bone cancer, and he was upset about losing his lucious locks. While I know LOL concentrates mostly on medical hair loss and not cancer, I figured now was a good time to chop it. This is actually my second donation, and maybe one day there will be a third. Of course, if I go gray before I can cut it again... I'll have to decide what to do. Thank you! All of you! ACMESkydiver 0 #24 October 4, 2007 My dad is losing his hair right now do to chemo...even though we were saying, "Daddy, ya don't have much to lose!" -I still think it was hard for him. I guess it must be; I just can't understand because I haven't gone through it myself. Donating your hair to kids going through the same is such a sweet thing to do. -and ya look so CUTE with short hair! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
