Standing in the middle of them thar holes.... Did your mind put you back in time a spit while you were standing there?... Just looking at the pic and knowing that the rolling terrain is sadly man~made sends a small chill up and down my spinal....

You can almost still hear the noise.

What amazed me most was looking down the cliff that the Rangers roped up. That was a suicide mission if there ever was one!

I spent a few days there some years ago .... any of my problems just paled. Well worth the trip and the time.

Funny how that place does that to you isn't it.

I was walking among the markers lost in thought, when I just stopped at one randomly to say a silent prayer.

Don't know why I stopped at this particular one but the unit and the date speak volumes about this man.
