kbordson 8 #31 October 13, 2007 What a GREAT guy! We met for coffee and chatted... and Peter recommended a wonderful bike tour of Central Park. Which my mom greatly enjoyed (mainly as we were passnegers and I was no longer making her walk here and there and then to here... ohhh... and lets go there.....) And.... rumor has it, there's an article in Mens Fitness about "some skydiver"
ACMESkydiver 0 #32 October 13, 2007 Screw you both! I travelled all the way from Seattle to Manhattan and I didn't meet Peter. I even wore make up and straightened my hair every day while we were there an' everything! I was presentable enough for mister 'ntrprnr'. Everybody gets to meet Peter...not me. Not Jaye...[shoves hands in pockets & kicks dirt] ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

Muenkel 0 #35 October 13, 2007 I live only 3 hours from NYC and I still haven't met Peter. Shit, my niece has an apt. on the upper east side where I could visit and arrange to see Peter. I still haven't done it. Next time I'm in Manhattan, my goal is to meet Peter and my bitch Aprilcat. _________________________________________ Chris

I suggest this - sometine in early December, I'll host a "meet Peter" party in my apartment. Free alcohol and Segway rides for all. Whatcha think?_______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" Brittentay 0 #41 October 14, 2007 not to hijack ... but ACME i love it when you post stories/pics of your kiddos!! They are absolutely gorgeous!!! many times, after reading one of your posts i wonder how in the world you have the patience and motivation and strength to do it every day. i guess its something ill never know until i have kids of my own. but when i do, i hope i can talk about my kids with as much unconditional love/support as you do. NWFlyer 2 #42 October 14, 2007 Wow, I haven't seen a photo of Sprouty in a while ... she really has a lot of her mom in her, doesn't she (I'm speaking about the physical resemblance - of course we know she's got a heart as big as her mom's already)."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. ACMESkydiver 0 #43 October 14, 2007 Quote i hope i can talk about my kids with as much unconditional love/support as you do. You will. There's just something about a kid that always looks at you like you hung the moon for them...not just your own, but nieces and nephews can give you that feeling, too. Thanky. -And Krisanne, I am telling you that she is a self-correcting child! I can't take any credit for that kid. Now then, if she could meet Peter and he could verify my wonderful progeny -people wouldn't think that it's just my skydiving family here in WA saying she's a good girl to make me feel good! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. Even I got to meet you. All I did was show up at Skydive The Ranch, which is just 7 miles from my aunt's house and wonder if there was anybody there from dropzone.com. I was about to give up and leave when I saw a Nissan Altima with "ntrprnr" on the tag. BAM... went right back in the hangar and asked around for Peter Shankman. ntrprnr 0 #45 October 16, 2007 Meeting Billy was VERY cool. I just landed from a reeeeeally windy jump, probably the windiest I'd ever made. I was walking into the hangar, dropped my rig, and there's Billy Vance. I was like, "hi, I just shit myself, but nice to meet you anyway!" _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" The funny thing is that I was expecting the DZ to be further out from town, say a mile or two more. I had to slam on the brakes when I realized I was about to pass the driveway to the DZ. That was kinda weird though. It's not often I come across a DZ on privately owned property that's right in town within walking distance of restaurants.
