BillyVance 35 #1 October 22, 2007 Damn... Alabama finally beats the shit out of Tennessee, and those cardiac kids at LSU pulls out a win with one tick left on the clock against Auburn! Auburn's only fault was that they left too much time on the clock, but damn, if LSU had dropped that TD pass, their clock management blunder at the end would have been the big story of the day! As for the Alabama - Tennessee game, I know Tennessee sucks this year, especially on defense, but I was shocked that they just didn't show up to play, and they always have in the past. And has ANYBODY EVER seen an onside kick successfully done to start a game off before???? I was going "what the fuck is going on?" when Alabama did it. Now here comes armageddon, game of the year, etc, (what the media is calling the next game) LSU vs Alabama. The rubber match. November 3, in Tuscaloosa. Bama coach vs his old team, whose fans hate him worse now than Bama fans hate Fat Fulmer. Granted, LSU is on the other end of the spectrum from Tennessee. Tenn is dead last in the SEC in defense, and LSU is first in the conference. I don't like the way Bama's D has played this year, but they did shut down Tennessee's league-leading passing game. I just hope Alabama can at least keep it close if LSU comes out fired up, they've done much better playing in the 4th quarter this year than they did the last 4 years combined. Time to lay it all out on the line. Oh, and South Florida? Yeah, right. Only saw the first 5 minutes and the last 5 minutes with spot checks in between.
