But please, be nice to the locals and pull the fuck over when you get more than 3 cars behind you on the two lane sections. Oh, and Hearst Castle is worth the time and money. We've actually done this trip a few times, once in an RV with the kids 10 years ago...and 1/2 dozen times either in the Vette or on a bike, back when we lived on the left coast.
