tigra 0 #28 October 25, 2007 I've got to agree with the "trash" comment, but I wouldn't be offended either for myself or my dog. A term like that (now that I know what it means- never heard it before) says a whole lot more about the person who said it than whoever or whatever she was referring to. People like that aren't worth getting upset over. It does suck when you are forced to spend time with someone like that just because she's the wife or GF of someone you actually enjoy spending time with. Maybe the husband will get smart and dump the trashy ho!
PLFXpert 0 #29 October 25, 2007 I'm not really upset. It did surprise me, though (and not in a good way). I'm not easily shocked. It was truly a WTF moment. "Did she just...Oh no she didn't." Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

SkyDekker 1,465 #31 October 25, 2007 I must be even denser, cause even spelled out I don't understand the insult.... Do black people only like a certain type of dog? Or do black people take good care of dogs? I don't get it
tigra 0 #32 October 25, 2007 Yeah, a WTF Moment- I've been there before. I wouldn't expect that from someone in my "circle" of friends and aquaintances, but not everyone was brought up the same. Her parents probably tossed that word around like it was nothing when she was growing up. Not an excuse, I still agree with the "trash" assessment! At some point you need to grow up and start thinking for yourself!
PLFXpert 0 #33 October 25, 2007 Quote I don't understand the insult.... Do black people only like a certain type of dog? Actually, I'm pretty sure she didn't mean it as an insult. It certainly wasn't a compliment. I think she's just socially awkward and was stating a personal observation. But, now I'm getting sociological. She's smart cookie. Successful. But weird. If there were a tangible reason (like the obvious to me) for her random behavior I'm confident her husband would have told us. But now this is getting way too serious for me.I was over it two minutes after she said it. It's just such surprises don't come often to me. I truly had no response to that. And that in itself is hard to accomplish.Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

(Does he count as a rapper???) I woulda said it, but he beat me to it. He's not directing it at anyone and not trying to apply it to anyone. Just explaining what the acronym means. Nothing wrong with that. Of all the shit that's said on dzdotcom, there are far worse things on here. Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.
