Shell666 0 #1 October 28, 2007 Finally decided that I needed to finish off the fence in the backyard. Decided to put in a gate rather than a fence just in case I have to pull my trailer into the yard from the garage pad. While I store it at my aunt's farm in the winter, if I need better access to the garage when it's here in the summer, I have an out now. All I need to do is finish a 4' section of fence on the left of the gate and I'm done. For now. But that's a project for next weekend. As long as it doesn't snow. I feel like I accomplished something today. And my puppy dog can still see what's going on out back. Did I mention I LOVE the smell of cedar when it's being cut! Now, off to open a bottle of wine and get dinner going.'Shell

Wow, you saw that the trailer was skewed. I'm impressed. It's not a flat tire. The hitch has a crank on one side that it sits on. I removed the stand from the OTHER side of the hitch when I was getting it ready to move out to the farm for the winter. Yeah, it's on a tilt now. GOOD bifocals! And yes, I have a few splinters as well. Not the first time, won't be the last. The sawdust is still on the floor of my garage. Smells WONDERFUL! Until I sweep it up and throw it away. But I still have the off cuts laying in a pile in there. Makes me wish I had a fireplace. 'Shell

Jewels 0 #18 October 29, 2007 I'm VERY impressed! In my world, that little "Sunday project" would equate to "hire someone." You did a beautiful job! Oh--and you're gonna need a lot more chinchillas if you plan to do anything with them other than cuddle. It takes a lot to get one coat. . . . I have to admit, I had some help with it. My 74 year old father helped do the math on the measurements and my brother showed up just in time to help screw together the last panel and then was nice enough to hold it while I put the hinges onto the post to hang it. And as far as the chincillas go, if you have any hanging around doing nothing, I could use them for a collar and cuffs! 'Shell

Jewels 0 #21 October 29, 2007 That's not enough to prevent you from taking all the credit. No extra chincillas around here, though. I just hope you remove their little paws first. It creeps me out to see little rodent feet (are chinchillas rodents???) dangling around someone's neck. . . . TPM Sister #
