ACMESkydiver 0 #1 August 3, 2005 Um, Skyride or no? Here's their website --> http://www.800soaring.com/index.html At the bottom of the page they list themselves as members of USPA... Anyone had experience with this company?? My company is trying to network with them, and I want to give them a heads up one way or the other...one of my business associates purchased 2 'flight tickets' from this company, and has not received them or used them yet. I wanted to let her know if she should cancel the order or not. -I wish I had more of a heads up from her (she didn't think to call me she said ) so I just got word of it yesterday. Comments anyone? Oh, and don't link the Skyride thread from three weeks ago, I read it & didn't find anything that would help... Thanks! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. ACMESkydiver 0 #6 August 3, 2005 This is the part that had me wondering about what's what...from their website: QuoteYou give the Flight Ticket, your gift recipient chooses the time and place and schedules the ride directly with one of our friendly pilots any time in the next two years. 24 years of experience, over 300,000 rides, 100% safety record My bolding. 100%, eh? Hmmm......24 years of skydiving, hangliding, and ballooning and they are 100%. I guess maybe they could claim that as a brokerage if the deals they have set up have never had incident, but still...hmmm....~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. There are some websites that make it easy to do a whois from your browser. The one I use is at godaddy.com clicky Walt

dbattman 0 #15 August 3, 2005 In either case. let us know about your coworkers experience. I'd be interested to hear if she had a good flight and experience or if the glider side is the same as the skydiving side.
PhreeZone 20 #16 August 3, 2005 The (800) 762-7464 is associated with 800-soaring and FundraisingRides.org. They use some shaddy techniques to populate google with thier number, but the links to skyride are not poping out. They use the same internet host.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
