I'm tired of my aching body from my Sabre1 170. It's been kicking my ass and I want a different canopy...any suggestions for what to buy? I have about 170 jumps on this sucker (my first canopy), I weigh 175 pounds (w/o gear), and I land it with no problem.

just go demo canopies. only you will know that right canopy for you.
pilot, safire, sabre2 for 9 cell.
spectre, triathlon for 7 cell.
will be in about the same range

keep it but get a dome slider from MEL at skyworks rigging. My dzo got one for his sabre1 170 and it made the canopy jumpable overnight.

my rigger put a slider extension on mine for $25. It improved the canopy opening 200%.

i have (had) a sabre 190 for 100 jumps or so. i learned to pack it. made a huge difference.
