No brake on the trailer. Doesn't seem to need one.

Other people have built powered trailers before - this is more an experiment to see how well it works. (I don't like the other ones I've seen.)

That's step 2. The battery can be made pretty small and put under the trailer bed; the controller can go anywhere. Right now I'm just testing to see how it rides.

See below. The trailer uses a replacement skewer on the rear wheel. Take out the old skewer, put the new one in, and the trailer then fits over the lugs on the new skewers.

Whoa! What kind of bike is that? We need more pics. And BTW, lets lube that chain for chrissake! It looks dry as a bone!

It's got that graphite 'dry' lubricant on it but it could probably use some more.

I went through a phase of trying waxes, dry lubes, etc, and from personal experience and research came to the conclusion none of them were much better than not using lube at all.

So for me it is:
- Separable link on chain for easy removal. (SRAM is good, Superlink is crap).
- Clean with 50/50 mix of citrus-cleaner/hot-water and a brush while wearing rubber gloves.
- Dry with heat gun.
- Install on bike.
- Lube with Triflow.

Interval ~300 miles.
