What's a fullface freefly helmet? And what makes it different from a regular fullface helmet?

You can get a Gath with a visor, or you could just wear a 'normal' fullface such as a Z1, Mamba, Oxygn, FreeZR, Factory Diver, etc.

The Boomerrang from Bonehead is a "freefly fullface."

don't you think it looks funny seeing guys ff'ing with a full face helmet on? also..many rw full face designs ..Z1 as example tend to flip open during the higher speeds of freeflying

Quite possibly. I've only done a couple of head-up jumps with my Z1 and it hasn't opened, but that's not exactly a statistically significant sample.

I've never had mine pop open in the tunnel and my bf has only had very few issues w. it opening, most on RW training jumps. He freeflew in it a ton and to my knowledge loved it w.o issues of opening frequently during freeflying.

Haven't heard of that on Z1's. I know quite a few top level freeflyers/freestylists that use Z1s.

I don't like a full face for FF. My Mindwarp is just fine (although I don't like the way it holds my Protrack, it falls out very easily - this is a model with the inside pocket - I like that - but the engagement is a hard flap and elastic and then velcro to hold the hard flat out against the helmut side. I have to modify that)

Yep .

With more and more FFer spending lots of time in tunnels, they are using full faces more often now in there, and in the air too.

Yep .

With more and more FFer spending lots of time in tunnels, they are using full faces more often now in there, and in the air too.

Esp. in the winter time if you are flying any significant amount of time. They are wonderful to take the edge off the chill.
