Thanatos340 1 #1 November 8, 2007 The Toliet Seat Battle He kept forgetting to put the seat back down and Mom kept fallin in. Great Idea.. However I still have very little sympathy for ladies that get their Tushys wet when someone left the seat up. How ANYONE can Drop their pants, Lift their Skirts or whatever.. and then SIT on something without looking at it first and then want to blame someone else for their mistake is beyond me. I sit my bare ass on a Toilet usually once a day and I can honestly say I have NEVER sat on a Toilet without first looking at where I am about to put my bare ass. Why is Women cant do that? My solution to this problen is to leave the plunger in the toilet. After a couple times, everyone learns to look before they sit.

JohnRich 4 #4 November 8, 2007 Quoteyou never hear a guy complain the seat was left down - I do, when the previous user was a guy, who was pissing while standing up, dribbling urine all over the seat, upon which I now need to sit. How much trouble is it to lift that seat up with your foot, as a courtesy to everyone else?

jtval 0 #6 November 8, 2007 Women who complain about the seat being left up are just looking to start an arguement over nothing. In the case case the mother is bitching about her 9 year old son who has done this for "pretty much all his life" leaving the seat up. Don't you think she would have learned to look by now?If you had an option would you rather me leave the seat up or down? I would prefer if someone left it up. Thanatos340 1 #7 November 8, 2007 Quote If you had an option would you rather me leave the seat up or down? I would prefer if someone left it up. Actually Seat AND Lid down make the most sense to me, But I have always been one to raise the seat if I need it raised and/or lower the seat if I need it lowered. Now I realize women always need it lowered but it really is not that difficult to raise or lower. I really dont understand all tyhe fuss over this. My Great words of wisdom to the fairer sex for this day… “Look at it before you sit on it… ALWAYS!!” And if you do sit on it with out looking and get more or less than you expected... Who’s fault is that??
mnskydiver688 0 #8 November 8, 2007 They don't want to have to touch the seat. If it really bugs a woman just install a urinal in the bathroom? Problem solved. Why don't women put the seat up when they are done? Chances are the guy will probably need the seat up the next time he uses it. I understand the whole courtesy thing, but a mother continually lecturing her kid seems a BIT too much.Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

The reason why there is seat over the actual toilet rim is because men can't aim! So there is always a little bit of urine on the rim. So since men will never learn to aim properly, we have that little extra seat to sit on. I don't know about you, but I would not want to sit on someone else's urine, would you?----------------- I love and Miss you so much Honey! mnskydiver688 0 #10 November 8, 2007 I wasn't arguing over why the seat is there, and I don't see how you drew that from my reply, but anyway I just don't see why women find it so much of a inconvenience to put the seat down? When guys use the bathroom they lift the seat so it seems, as is, the workload is even. Women put the seat down, men lift it up. Oh and in regards to the urine on the rim, ever consider the possibility of splashback?Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

jtval 0 #13 November 8, 2007 Actually what I meant was if I were to do oine thing with the lid when I went to the bathroom what would you chose? I can forget to lift it before I pee, OR I can forget to put it down when I leave.EDIT: By "IT" I mean the lid and the seat. jtval 0 #15 November 8, 2007 That's nasty. Groom that thing ,man. Nevermind splashback, Lots of toilets spray water when you flush it. Women who leave the seat down on those toilets have no courtesy for anyone; man or woman. My photos My Videos
