maggott 0 #1 May 19, 2006 Hi folks... just got my hands on a strange paradactyl-like canopy that seems to be from eastern europe. it has "Tanka 107" stamped on the canopy. It is very similar to the dactyl, but is made of a light weight taffeta, not ripstop and the reefings system and steering lines are quite alien. I can't find any reference to it in the parachute manual or on the internet. Any one ever seen such a thing? What's eve stranger, is that it is set up as a RESERVE!!! and it has a pilot-chute reefed slider! How scary is that?! Any thoughts would be helpful.~Maggott __________________________________________________________________________________ "Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got till it's gone?" NWPoul 1 #2 May 19, 2006 Sounds like you have PZ-81, rogallo type reserve Talka - is name of the complete setup (H/C + reserve (PZ-81) +main (Radar if memory serves me well)) (but 107?) http://www.zavod3.ru/view_product.aspx?prodid=16 BTW not a bad reserve, still popular in many of DZ's here (in Russia)Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?
