Nothing like getting a phone call from your aunt that starts with "I have some good news and some bad news" ... still not sure what the GOOD news was. Winds here in Alberta were WICKED today. Gusts to 90km an hour. I took my trailer out to the farm for the winter a few weeks back. Parked in my usual spot right behind my aunt's 5th wheel. A spruce tree about 25 feet to the east of my trailer decided to crack under the pressure and near as my aunt can figure, came straight down on the corner of it. My aunt said it was the top 15 feet of a close to 40 foot tree. The fibreglass roof is cracked, the trim on the back corner is torn away and the roof has shifted about 2" to one side. Hopefully it's not too damaged. And thankfully my aunt and uncle are trying to straighten out the roof and tarp it up as I type this. Pray that my little baby makes it to LP this year!
