NWFlyer 2 #6 November 14, 2007 Quote I think that's true for everything these days. It's very important on my DVR to make sure "record only new episodes" is checked. Simpsons frustrates me though because it seems every so often a bunch of reruns will get loaded into the programming database back in TiVo-world without complete data, so they'll show up as new episodes when they should be marked as reruns... if I don't keep my eye on what's been recorded, all of a sudden I'll have a week's worth of old episodes cluttering up my TiVo box (and since I have an old-old-old school TiVo - 40 hours with lifetime subscription - I have to make sure I'm not filling it up)."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. The other option is just using TiVo to go to transfer stuff over to a hard drive, but that's a pain in the ass (but I did that when I was traveling a lot and my TiVo would fill up ... but I was watching almost everything on my laptop on the road anyway)."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. PLFXpert 0 #14 November 14, 2007 Well, geez. I like you. I like rehmwa. You both love the show. But, didn't it debut in 2001? I think for me that ship has sailed. At least until it reruns at 7 p.m. I never would have seen a single episode of Friends if it weren't for that. Friends is hee-larious. I had no idea. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. PLFXpert 0 #20 November 15, 2007 Damn you! Actually, I don't need it. Us anal perfectionists don't care much for clutter. I either watch it or delete it. And if I've watched it, I delete it. If I get behind, I just delete it (if I don't it feels like a chore). While I've never had to, I'm confident I'd have no problems "cutting away". Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. PLFXpert 0 #22 November 16, 2007 I just saw it. You didn't spoil anything.House is becoming a little silly, though. It was still a funny episode, but I like it better in Seasons Two & Three when the plot itself was more simple, but the writing & dialog were far more interesting. It's like anything else. It's so hard to find good movies these days that are just well-written stories and not about all the action & different sub-storylines. It's insulting. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
