I have been trying to convince some jackass on an RV forum for 2 hrs that the problem he is having with his generator is carburator ice and the fucker just will not listen. Funny thing is it only takes 2 seconds to change the air intake to solve the problem

I'd hesitate to judge anyone as a dumbass on just one scenario, but when you've known someone for years and every argument they have on every subject is sheer ignorance with a large handful of arrogance, it's hard not to.
