It might have been John Tash. I just listened to some of his songs and they seem to be kind of similar but I'm not sure.

No, I just scanned the episode off the TiVo again. The punk rocker that the episode was about is said to be the one that recorded it 20 years earlier, Jim Moskowitz was the name given for it, the punk rocker was named Jimmy Quidd. Odds are its not a real song, its one made up just for House.

Funny enough Jimmy Quidd was the real name of one of the producers of "The Misfits"

Okey thank's for the help. Disappointing that it doesn't really exist I really enjoyed it.

I figured out that it wasn't Tresh after I listened to more songs. I just happend to listen to one that was pretty similar first.
