Unstable 9 #14 November 29, 2007 Unfortunately my GF comes from a rich Texas lifestyle where "Guys don't drive Cars-" and the logic boggles my mind. I think that if you use them for a good reason, then I'm all for them. If you use it as a status symbol to show off how man you are, then you need to grow some balls. =========Shaun ==========

monkycndo 0 #16 November 29, 2007 QuoteMy reason would be you can't tow a camper with a Honda Accord! I hear this alot to justify buying a HUGE land boat. And they pull said boat/camper/trailer a couple times a year. Yep, that makes it worth it. It's like the idiot that buys a hummer, covers it with chrome, puts 24" rims with low profile tires on it and never lets it get anywhere near dust. But hey, being cool is worth it.50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
WI-Fly 0 #17 November 29, 2007 Gas, Grass or Ass, nobody rides for free.......It fit me perfect in high school, the only problem that out of the three things, I really only had one of them all the time and looking back it was the ONE I did not need.....can you guess which one???? I can barely imagine you fitting in that little asian tin can.But Jeannie, the big difference is that you actually use that big fucking truck as it was intended. It FREQUENTLY hauls a camper around, offroad, maybe pulling a boat or trailer. That's what they are made for. I have no issues when those land boats get used as intended. I just laugh my ass off seeing a lifted truck that has never seen anything other than concrete under the tires for fear of messing up the wax job protecting the custom paint job. Oh my gawd, there is dust on my highly polished chromed shock absorbers. Back to the detailer.[/rant]50 donations so far. Give it a try. I guess I'm off the hook. We tow the camper to the DZ almost every weekend. Getting there Friday night & leaving Sunday night, 9 times out of 10.I am NOT being loud. I'm being enthusiastic! I do all of those things.. and I have the dents in the truck to prove it...AND I have been doing it since I bought it .. brand new in 2002 when they finally gave me the 4 door option WITH... the diesel. I have had my boat a lot longer than this truck.. and its 25' and weighs about 7500 pounds... and that is one reason I bought the truck so I can take it to varied locations... the boat only gets about 1 MPG...so its smarter to tow itoh and dust on the wax.......bwahahahahahaha.. we are talking MUD.. I take it thru the mud pit with water coming up over the hood from time to time.... I probably have at least 100 pounds of mud stuck up underneath everytime I come back from the off road play area.. luckily it rains enough around here to wash that shit off....
