My brother's rock video from 1989

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone:

My brother was in a Boston-based band called Dogzilla from about 1987-1992.

For those of you not familiar with Boston, MA, they have their own seperate list for top favorite hits. (it's a big music town). Anyway, Dogzilla had about 4 songs that made the top 5 in Boston's list.

This video was made based on one of their most popular songs at the time. It's about getting ahead in the field of Corporate Rock, and the song is callled "LUNCH WITH ED." Made in 1989. Enjoy:

I HOPE your brother is embarrassed by that.:D

If not then, he may still be a freak.

I dont mean the underwear thing either,
It sounded like an attempt to meet the red hot chili peppers with beastie boys and MORE COWBELL. I NEED MORE COWBELL.:D

OK do people agree with jtval?

How does this video compare with most rock videos?

How does the music compare with most of the stuff you hear on the radio?

Should my brother be embarrassed by this or not?

but that isn't the criteria is it??

Time does not make a good song bad.

If the song sucks, then it sucks. It doesn't matter what year it is now.

for example, the Benny Goodman song "Sing Sing Sing" (with Gene Crouper on drums) still rocks now, even though it is now 2007.

Well its no "Mmm Bop"
but it's no "still of the night" either.

I did just listen to it again and IF i had listened to them back in my youth I would probably find ALOT of nastalgia in the song. but I didn't.

After a few more plays I would probobly revoke my orig statement. I don't think the song is BAD I actually like the guitar line. I dont like the break in the song to sing the title.

I get it. I don't know who Ed is but some day we all gotta have lunch with him to pay for our debts.

That guy must've been a douche.:D
