I wonder what excellent musicians we don't hear

So I was thinking today while listening Grand Funk in my car. We never had videos when we were young. We listened to the music and let our minds do the painting

Take a look at these pictures. Would we hear their music if they started out today? I think not. They're not pretty enough...not marketable.

Sad really.

Been jamming on Mr.Roy Buchanan most of the night. I would guess, most of you have never heard of this Blues Legend. Buy "Live Stock". "Can I Change My Mind" is a classic not be unheard. Many of the great guitarist today have honed their skills from his innovations. He was the man who made the Telecaster sing. Saw him back in the early 70's. Jazz/blues/rock fusion. The man was a master.
