freethefly 6 #1 December 1, 2007 O.K. I know that a lot of people here do want to believe that they are immune but, I am going to shove it in your face with this post. It is about AIDS. I hope that you do take a look at it as it will affect each and everyone of you eventually in your lifetime. It may be your brother, sister, mother or father. It may be your cousin, inlaw, husband, wife, girlfiend/boyfriend or a friend. It does not care who you are or what position in society the you inahibit but it will eventually seep into your life, one way or another. It may seep in by way of casuall contact. It may seep in by way of close contact. It may only be casual but, it it will affect each and every person that you know as it affects society on a level that is often untold. Today is world AIDS Day. If you do anything today, at least mention it, if only once, to someone you care about. It is only through information, such as this, that someone does not have to be as me. AIDS changes a life in more ways than you can imagine. It is a silent cancer that can be stopped if only the stigma is ignored and the truth is known that it does not discriminate on who it infects. Mention it once can change the course of it path. Do it for someone you love. While you are at it, go get tested. Thank You http://www.avert.org/world-aids-day-quiz.php I am going to add this "I am the only person that I am aware of in this sport to admit that I have AIDS. I have hoped for several years that others, whom I am aware of, would have came forward. I know for fact that there are others. If you you are infected and do not want to come forward, I understand that, I have had some mean PM's about my condition but, I ignore them and continue to push it out there. I would hope that if anyone gives a damn that they would mention the need to take all precautions neccesary to stop the spread of HIV and all other STD's. I am also adding this: If you are are concerned and wish to talk to some one, I am available. I have been living with this illness for 13 years. I will respect your confidentiality. I WILL NOT expose you. I do wish to talk to others who have to deal with what I have to deal with. But, I do hope that we can support one another the same as other with an illness do. Again, please talk to your loved ones and bring this up at the dz. Make a difference in your life and those around you. It benefits everyone. Thank You Oh, and if you wish to contact me and discuss, my email is Flyingloom@yahoo.com My name is Mark Hamm.
