Zep 0 #6 November 25, 2007 I'm back, it's been a hectic day. and sorry it's not skydiving related Imagine if you will a tiny village in the foot hills of the pre Pyreneean mountains (the Pyrenees are the mountains that divide Northern Spain(Catalunya) from France) an idyllically quite life, most houses are over four hundred years old and in the village square, a watch tower dating from the tenth century. Thats my village. Last summer the village shop, bar, restaurant an hostel closed, really it ripped the heart out of the village. The owner decided to sell up lock stock an barrel, After months of mulling it over we've decided to buy it. As we know nothing about the restaurant business professional help will be hired, Oh dear, what have I gotten myself into this time Gone fishing

I'm sure it will be A LOT of work, but hopefully you'll get a lot of joy from this venture and will meet LOTS of interesting people to share stories and break bread with. (but... for some reason, Fawlty Towers keeps popping to mind )

Zep 0 #14 November 26, 2007 (but... for some reason, Fawlty Towers keeps popping to mind Laugh) I did for a moment think of renaming it "Flowery Twats" but I don't think the locals would understand the humor. To all, The restaurant was an will stay what we call a "Grill" which means all the meat is cooked BBQ style, I'm doing deals with the local farmers to supply the meat. The beef here is to die for it's all free range. Each spring the heifers are let out to the pastures an woods an stay there untill the fall. With the Restaurant comes about 800 acres of mixed land, a rundown swimming pool an the village football field, I'll take photos when I can, probably next weekend as I leave for and return from work whilst it's still dark If I get any skydivers passing through, produce a valid license an the beers free.
