Muenkel 0 #1 December 3, 2007 We're getting really heavy wet snow right now and it is affecting my TV and internet. Fortunately the dishes can be reached from a window with a broom. Someone told me you can spray the dishes with pam or WD-40, but I'm a little leary about that idea. Anyone know? Thanks _________________________________________ Chris

grannyinthesky 0 #7 December 3, 2007 Just on the dish part. My brother was really frugal and he did it and said it worked. They also did it on the ones on the roof of the building where I worked. I was too broke at the time to have a dish to worry about."safety first... and What the hell..... safety second, Too!!! " ~~jmy POPS #10490

kschilk 0 #15 December 3, 2007 Granny's right....WD-40 will work too but seems to wash off quicker. I've done it for years, on the recommendation of the local tech. It's an old Indian trick. "T'was ever thus."

warpedskydiver 0 #21 December 4, 2007 Glue a waterbed heater to the back of it. Use the theromostat, you only need to warm it up to 35 degrees. This works, a friend in Alaska did it.

sunshine 2 #24 December 4, 2007 Paint it pink. There is some ingredient in pink paint that makes it impossible for snow to stick to. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug!
