godfrog 2 #1 December 7, 2007 I can't believe it! my neighbor is getting sued for not mowing his lawn, this is unbievable to me. when I moved into this neighborhood last year I was not made aware of any covenants or anything like that...what BULLSHIT...Experience is a difficult teacher, she gives you the test first and the lesson afterward
jtval 0 #2 December 7, 2007 Just find the HOA presidents house and throw rocks through the windows, then sue him for leaving glass on the floor. Of course I'm joking, but I can't imagine this getting very far in the court system before someone tell the plaintiff to stop wasting their fucking time.My photos My Videos

Morrison79 0 #4 December 7, 2007 I'm not trying to defend the people who are sueing your neighbor but.. I have lived next door to some people who bring the neighborhood down. From not mowing the lawn to having an excessive number of POS cars laying around or not keeping up on basic household maintence. It's not fair to all the people who take pride in their property. Sometimes it takes sueing people to get them to clean their shit up!
jtval 0 #5 December 7, 2007 I agree that property should be kept up, but suing over it? Unless its a health hazard etc it's silly. the OP's neighbor may be a slob, I don't know, but Wouldn' the whole case fall through when the lwan was mowed? My photos My Videos
godfrog 2 #6 December 7, 2007 I live across the street from him, his place is nice, no old vehicles sittin around, outside is neat and maintained, he just don't mow his lawn. maybe a fobia or something, I don't know seems strange, but thats how it is, other peoples places are alot more cluttered and junky so why pick on him?Experience is a difficult teacher, she gives you the test first and the lesson afterward

freefallfreak 0 #9 December 7, 2007 He could have Elvis mow it. Elvis isn't busy right now and he's just been seen under the Tree at Toomer's Corner in Auburn flirting with Marilyn. Glitch 0 #13 December 7, 2007 It seems to me that the best solution would be to hire a neighbor kid to mow the lawn for him as an Xmas present. Additionally, and more importantly I thinks, would be to find out who is filing the suit and visit their lawn at 3 am with a couple of bottles of Round-Up and a sprayer. Next spring/summer, they'll have more important things to worry about than how long a neighbors lawn is. Randomly f'n thingies up since before I was born... The guy I bought my house from said he used to mow his lawn for him. maybe I should tell him to haul in a bunch of rocks and make a rock yard like the ones I seen in Az.Experience is a difficult teacher, she gives you the test first and the lesson afterward
