That way when the dude in the bar spots it he thinks, "Hmm, big rock. I'll bet the guy who bought that wants to keep her."

ACMESkydiver 0 #53 December 7, 2007 Quote Spend whatever you and her feel is right for the both of you. If you have the money to buy her a big ring, and she wants it, I don't see anything wrong with buying an expensive ring. If you don't have the money and she doesn't care, buy something more conservative. There is no "rule", except the one you guys have together. What she said. Anybody showing up to a wedding and trying to figure out how much money was spent on the ring or the day needs to examine their own intentions. If it was $50 or $50,000, it is not YOUR day, butt the hell out. -People like that should come with some kind of alert: 'WARNING. Will become appauled if table linens look too cheap or wedding gown looks too expensive.' That way you can uninvite them and not have somebody trying to poop on your happiness. If it's a bubble-gum machine toy or an estate-worthy beauty, it's between the two of you. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
