Why living close to your ex is bad...

Recommended Posts

My ex and I live in the same apartment complex, he's about 2 buildings down from me. I was just taking my trash out to the dumpster and saw him leaving his apartment with who I'm guessing is his new gf. They were hugging and kissing good bye then i heard him say, "I love you." The gf thing is kinda be expected but DAMN...our divorce isn't even final yet and he's already saying I love you to someone else? WTF?????? I think it's time for a beer...or 2...or 5. OK...venting over.

Too bad I live so far away. I'd generously offer to have wild monkey sex with you on his doorstep just to piss him off.

Who says chivalry is dead?

Gonna bring yer OWN monkey this time? :$

Damn, I just *knew* someone was gonna jump on that!:D:D

Yes I did do the dumping...but it still hurts. Haven't you ever broken up with someone then didn't like seeing them with someone else at first? I think it just hurts knowing that he's able to get over me that fast. I'm in no way a cocky person thinking I'm the greatest thing god has given to men. But it does hurt to know he was able to get over me that fast.

I could have sworn you were asking for dating advice on here like two or three days after you two agreed to divorce.

Maybe he's *not* over you.

Besides, if you did the dumping then it's *definitely* time to celebrate!B|

So who got the apartment in the same complex as the other one?

She's probably just a rebound girl. He may just be saying what she wants to hear or fooling himself.

Then again, it could be a "show" he planned for weeks for you to "accidently" see. :o

Yes, i was asking for dating advice. However I quickly realized skymama and the others were right. I needed to take time to find myself first. And I've been doing just that. I haven't been on a single date yet. Yes, there is this one guy that I'm very interested in but I've been stopping myself from jumping head first into a full blown relationship with him. I'll be the first to admit that at first I thought I was ready to go straight back into the dating world. But thanks to the wise words of many I realized that I was wrong. I have no problem admitting that I've made some bad choices in the past but I think I'm learning from them.

Good!!! Very good! It's always better to be by yourself for the right reasons than be with someone for the wrong reasons.

And you can be sure that your ex will be "relationship hopping" - you will not be the last woman to dump him, I can assure you!

You'll land on your feet (or on your back, knees, etc.) - Best of Luck!
