NWFlyer 2 #9 December 12, 2007 I think I'm adding this to my list. "There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke

skymama 37 #11 December 12, 2007 You Brits wait so long to put your stuff up. Most Americans have had them up for so long, the trees are half-dead! For a tree style, I've always been fond of the frasier fir. Do you have those there? She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
shropshire 0 #12 December 13, 2007 Hi... Traditionally, we decorate on Christmas Eve and keep them up for 12 nights. But I realise that you folks have some sort of thanks giving tea to practise cooking a large meal for Christmas and decorate the hgouse for that. I like a Frasier or a Blue fir (Love the smell). If you were smart, like the rednecks, you wouldn't have any decorating to do... The lights would still be up from last year! Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.
