Muenkel 0 #28 December 13, 2007 OK, I've just recovered from Dave's story.I personally never experienced any dramatic event while water skiing. But, I do have a story to tell. My cousin was water skiing and somehow the rope wrapped around her thumb resulting in 2/3rds of it being amputated. In order for the thumb to be skin grafted, she had her thumb surgically placed inside her breast. I don't remember how long she had it there, but she had to go to H.S. during this time. It was not a pleasant experience to say the least.
