BillyVance 35 #1 December 14, 2007 Who'da thunk it? My brother's step-daughter just had a baby this morning, and she's 18. I don't suppose there are that many 40 year old great uncles out there? wildfan75 1 #2 December 14, 2007 Congrats! My friend Heather became a great aunt two days after I became a regular aunt. It was in 2000 and we were 24 at the time. Needless to say her oldest sister is quite a bit older than she is.

monkycndo 0 #4 December 14, 2007 I've think I've been a pretty good uncle for quite some time. What do they judge you on to be considered "great"? I have four nieces, so I guess that makes me a good aunt as well. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. 2fat2fly 0 #5 December 14, 2007 You may be an uncle once removed or something, but I doubt that you're a Great uncle---you're more like that uncle that smells funny and stays too long at the holidaysBut congrats on the family addition I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

BillyVance 35 #7 December 14, 2007 QuoteQuote40 year old great unclesYou are from Alabama, aren't you... Wendy W. Yeah, but you can't stereotype me. My brother hates Alabama politics and such, so he moved to California once he graduated from college - UT Longhorns. Then a few years ago moved to Hawaii (the big island) with his wife and her daughter. The daughter, my brother's step-daughter, had been kind of a rebel the last few years. She's never seen her real dad, a full blooded Spaniard who up and left her mom when she got pregnant. You know kids like that, sometimes they just want to do their own thing. Luckily the dude that got her pregnant (full blooded native Hawaiian) is good to her and they have their own place now. Baby's first name? livendive 8 #8 December 14, 2007 I should be an uncle for the 4th time within the next week or so (my sister is due tomorrow). I've still got high hopes of reaching 40 without being a grandpa...only 375 more days! Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!"
