The team is now called Force India, and the team logo will include the Flag of India. The team's website says "Force India Formula One team is a representation of the new young fast paced global Indians..." Negotiations are also underway to add India as a venue in the GP racing circuit. ----------- Sounds like a good thing for India. Gawain 0 #2 December 24, 2007 I agree, that holds great promise and positive promotion of India. I guess it's not technically a state-sponsored team, I imagine that those within F1 would have an issue with that. Cool stuff, and nice logo.So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! As for the team, it's still based in England and still run by Brits and Germans. It won't create any jobs or advance any technology in India.Do you want to have an ideagasm? Can you say 'discretionary income'? Dr. Mallya just recently bought 50% of Epic Aircraft for the low, low price of $200 million. What do you get this guy for Christmas? A space shuttle? The New England Patriots?
