iluvtofly 0 #1 December 25, 2007 So I wasn't orignally supposed to work a double today. I was just supposed to work 7 to 3. But yesterday the girl who was supposed to relieve me at 3 called off. And figuring that everyone else had probably already made plans with their families I just volunteered to do her shift as well. To my surprise my boss just walked in handed me $20 and said, "Go get yourself some lunch." I think the only reason he did it was because if I hadn't volunteered he would've probalby been the one stuck working the other shift. But it was still a really nice surprise. (For those who don't know what Sheetz is it's a gas station/convenience store/made-to-order type food.) Their food is actually pretty good so it didn't bother me any. It was just nice to get out of the building for a little bit.
