Low-level flight up and over Matterhorn

Recommended Posts

Swiss AF Hawker Hunter flying low in Alps. While the rest of this video is good, fwd to 2:40 and aircraft flys at low level up and over the top of the Matterhorn following a ridge. Me likes it.

I'm trying to find a hi-res version of the video. Anyone know where to find one?

Nice (YMMV) soundtrack is ERA Ameno.

only found this..

Thanks! Found that last night. The video was originally posted there, but it's low-rez like youtube. I know it's out there somewhere. That Matterhorn climb was pretty cool, eh?

re: Para Center

No. Never heard of it before. When you posted about the good view of the Alps/Matterhorn when you jumped in Ticino, I googled Ticino because I didn't know what it was (Southern Swiss Canton.) Then wondered if a DZ in the area had cool pics of the Alps...... Basically bored and screwing around.

Anyway, it must be really cool to see the Alps like that.

they're out of service since 1994. we got hornets now.

cant really tell by the clip, i'm sure there's a fanatic or two that own a private hunter now. would be ex-airforce pilots anyway, and thats the terrain they're training in, so its not the first time for sure.
