dannydan 5 #2 December 26, 2007 Basically its a TRUST thing!!! Depending on what level of locksmithing, there could be some background checks and then certifications come in... I always thought of becoming one myself and asked a buddy of mine who has been and still is a locksmith after 30 years! I can ask him some more questions if you want! Heck he is even a jumper too! docdialtone 0 #3 December 26, 2007 I'm not a locksmith but I am a burglar alarm installer and in Texas it's the same license.
