JustChuteMeNow 0 #2 December 26, 2007 It is way less time consuming to go the range Think of how stupid the average person is and realize that statistically half of them are stupider than that.
jumper03 0 #3 December 26, 2007 Quote I want to learn this style of martial arts http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krav_Maga I've got a friend that was just commisioned in the air force this past summer and she's been doing this for awhile. She swears by it and tells me she has used it once (very effectively). I didn't ask any questions... She says its a lot of fun too.Scars remind us that the past is real

bigway 4 #11 December 27, 2007 I guess when you go on the front line you need to learn to fight to kill not like in the streets. it is scary thought but i for one would like to be trained like that. Scary shit though if you think about it. This is where i have respect for anyone that has been on the front line. I remember a marine who jumped told me that 'close combat fighting is different out there, you are fighting for your life'. Scary shit, much respect. .Karnage Krew Gear Store . SuFantasma 0 #17 December 28, 2007 The first rule of close-hand combat is : don't get close ... After 17 years of martial arts training and way too many real-time uses, I have learned to difuse situations and avoid the adrenaline that comes with split-second decisions.... Krav maga is a combat philosophy, not truly a martial art. A martial art is rooted in the use of daily life movements applied to survival skills (not necessarily towards another human being, as many of the martial arts are skills to fight off natural predators such as lions, snakes, etc..)Y yo, pa' vivir con miedo, prefiero morir sonriendo, con el recuerdo vivo". - Ruben Blades, "Adan Garcia"
