fraja 0 #1 April 19, 2006 Hi All, i'm thinking to purchase this instrument, but to me it's a new mark (i know neptune, etc...). Someone knows VISO Pro-Dytter ? any info (review) about him, will be great. Thanks, Fraja.
tcnelson 1 #2 April 19, 2006 some of us can't wait to get to know the viso but, we'll all have to wait until l&b releases it. "Don't talk to me like that assface...I don't work for you yet." - Fletch NBFT, Deseoso Rodriguez RB#1329
bob.dino 1 #3 April 19, 2006 The Viso and the Pro-Dytter are two different devices. The Viso is a visual altimeter with a digital display, to be worn on the wrist. The Pro-Dytter is an audible altimeter to be worn in the helmet.
katzurki 0 #4 April 20, 2006 Eh, well, technically, Solo is called SOLO PRO-DYTTER and Optima is called OPTIMA PRO-DYTTER in the manual, could be the same thing with the Viso.

Go to the L&B website and download the Solo & Optima manuals. There's no mention of the word Dytter in the English versions, and I'm pretty sure there isn't in the Russian either. The Viso manual is not yet available, primarily because the product isn't . And even if the Solo & Optima were called Dytters, they're audible altimeters and the Viso isn't. Ingrid & I did the Russian translations, and I remember being freaked out because the initial manual Mads sent us listed the Optima as OPTIMA PRO-DYTTER. Sure enough, now the English manual only says OPTIMA, but the Russian manual still has it as OPTIMA PRO-DYTTER.
jurgencamps 0 #7 April 20, 2006 Probably they left out this function in the last version, because it makes the device unnecessarily more complicated to make? Jurgen
