SarahC07 0 #51 January 4, 2008 Quote Quote Well, there's not really an option that fits for me, as I am female and there is only one of me. I'm with you. However... I have never cheated and don't really ever think I will cheat, but I've clearly thought about it.
NWFlyer 2 #52 January 4, 2008 Oh, I wasn't even talking about the cheating part. I was talking about the singular vs. plural part. SarahC07 0 #53 January 4, 2008 I followed - I thought it was funny...I'm just a bad poster... No organizational skills... Doesn't anyone else think that maturity has more to do with this than gender? You could counter with: Well, yeah but I bet lots of people in their 40's and 50's cheat. So then I think, maybe marriage makes us feel trapped and instead of a) working on improving the relationship or b) getting out of the relationship (aka divorce) people choose option c) and they CHEAT. ... It's gonna take a long time for me to decide to get married, that's for sure...
happythoughts 0 #54 January 4, 2008 Quote I honestly think women cheat more than men. Depending on the survey, it is 19-21% for both sexes. Everything that I've read says it is about equal. Quote And, I don't think most women would admit to anyone that they cheated, if they had. I know a woman whose sister didn't know about her affair until her husband caught her after 2 years. Most women don't even tell the people close to them. Most are discrete and go to "visit a friend nearby". In Tampa, we call them "the Orlando girls". There are women who are actually close friends, but will deny it in casual conversation. The funny part is when I happen to already know it for a fact. "I would never..." "Uh-huh..." Work becomes that social arena that you have to attend. I never mention skydiving at work because of the stalker potential. I have a rule that if anything is correct 95% of the time, then I can use it as a generalization. F- buddies at work is a bad idea.
