Darktreader 0 #1 January 3, 2008 I would like to get some answers on an age old debate I have had with a friend. *The question at hand is : "which gender cheats more often?" I personally believe more women cheat then men, however I believe they are more secretive about it as they normally have alot more to fear and lose. I think typically men are not as afraid to be caught and tend to be less secretive especially to other guys. BillyVance 35 #2 January 3, 2008 You need more poll options... like those who have never cheated, but think about it. And those that think about it, but never do it. NWFlyer 2 #3 January 3, 2008 Well, there's not really an option that fits for me, as I am female and there is only one of me. mamajumps 0 #6 January 3, 2008 I firmly believe that the old adage "once a cheater, always a cheater" is not true. It is where my ex is concerned, he has never been in a monogamos (sp?) relationship. He cheated on me from word go in our 10 yr marriage. After about 7 years of this, I cheated on him trying to show him how it felt. He didnt care and even tho we are now in the middle of a divorce and its 4 years later, I still feel like shit for my actions. But I agree, I think more women cheat than men. Maybe its just because I am more aware of women who cheat. Also, I know some women who only pursue married men, honestly it makes me sick to my stomach, but apparently it is some kind of game to conquer the unattainable man. Men and women who cheat on their wives or husbands have no place in my friend book. There is no excuse for it.

Broke 0 #8 January 3, 2008 I had a friend who's GF was a total slut, and when he talked to her about it she came out with this line that made him feel like shit, "What you don't trust me honney." He found a letter a couple of months later. She made him feel lower than anyone could feel even though she cheated on him with only how many guys. It is really quite sad that women can be so evil.Divot your source for all things Hillbilly. Anvil Brother 84 SCR 14192

Jewels 0 #16 January 3, 2008 Well, duh. But the OP is talking about women being more secretive because they have more to lose. I don't think being more secretive helps keep you from getting pregnant. TPM Sister #
mamajumps 0 #17 January 3, 2008 Quote Define cheating. Walt IMHO, anything that could potentionally lead to an orgasm. I have a few guy friends that I care a lot about, but am not sleeping with them. Also, anything that the husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend feels that they have to lie about or hide from their S.O. My guy, knows that I can be very outgoing and flirty, but I don't hide this from him and it is very innocent. I will be very quick to shut it down if it starts going out of my comfort zone. Even tho, I am very openly bi, I still have more male friends than I do female. It has been my experience that the majority of women, no matter how good of a friend they seem to be will stick a knife in your back at their first given chance, especially if you have something they want. Well maybe he's referring to the hypocrisy that has existed in our society since who knows when--a man who has a lot of partners is a hero; a woman who has more than one is a slut. Or maybe he's talking about the scenario of a married woman with kids who fears losing custody in a divorce. Personally, I think it's just women's nature to be more secretive about their affairs.
