Twoply 0 #1 January 5, 2008 Anyone know a good link to the recommended progression to being able to fly one? I'm not talking the trikes, but the fan on your back thingy. A good link would be good too.
davelepka 4 #2 January 5, 2008 The only training you need is toilet training. Just get one, and we'll figure it out. How hard can it be? You're flying with an open parachute, what could go wrong?

BillyVance 34 #5 January 5, 2008 Quote Would that be wrong? Well no.... but anybody did that, they'd deserve the beating just for giving any kind of parachuting a bad name... Edited to add: Hell, if you're gonna do it, make sure you got your best friend with you, so you both can sit in that jail cell together saying "that was fucking awesome!!" Zing 2 #6 January 5, 2008 Hell, why spend good money. Somebody on the dropzone must have a big old nine-cell or a ragged out tandem canopy and you can swipe the engine off the dropzone's riding mower when no one is watching. After all, they won't need it to mow again until next Summer, and by then you'll probably be dead or crippled ... and they can have their engine back.Zing Lurks
gavi_omen 0 #7 January 5, 2008 ...just make sure you don't get any blood on a perfectly good engine. If you think you're about to crash, use your last moments to toss the engine away from the carnage. There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle. Dude, if I'm going to end up dead or crippled, I'm swiping one of the new tandem canopies.
