happythoughts 0 #31 January 1, 2008 It was cloudy until around 2pm. Then, things opened up and we planned our annual Pirate Day - Skull and Crossbones jump on load 11 around 4pm. There was a couple of evening loads. One just after sunset, one at midnight. Live band, fireworks, lots of people dressed up as pirates. The pirate ship throwing out beads. A treasure hunt. If it makes you feel any better, it has been overcast this morning, so I slept in. The cloud cover has chilled things out a little. It is around 70 right now. Yesterday, it was in the 80s and it was too hot to cook out, but we did anyway. I think it was Saturday that they flew 69 Otter loads. There was a 40-way group that jumped all day and there was a bunch of organizers with groups also. Flat big-way, flat small-group, wingsuit, headdown.
