kschilk 0 #1 January 10, 2008 Does anyone know of a "scientific" explanation why bees (especially hornets) seem to hate yellow? Seriously....I've seen bees attack yellow painted equipment, (tractors, backhoes, etc.) even when it hasn't been started or moved for weeks.....never saw them do it to a green, red, or other colored machine. Dozenss of times, while operating a machine, I've stirred-up a nest. I've noticed that when the equipment I was on was yellow, they went after it and left me alone but if it was any other color, I always got the crap stung out of me."T'was ever thus." skydemon2 0 #2 January 10, 2008 yellow is the color of pollen so they think it is a big flower. Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clean to the bone! I like to start my day off with a little Ray of Soulshine™!!
